FNG Fornes Logistics is once again sponsoring the Palma Marathon Mallorca, which welcomed 7,000 runners from all over the world to the capital of the Balearic island.

The company has been collaborating with the organisation as a logistics partner and sponsor of the event since 2018, in an event that this year welcomed more than 7,000 runners from different countries.

"Our aim in getting involved in this king of initiatives is to highlight the importance of logistics for the success of the event and for all participants to have a great day out. In addition to promoting among our internal staff the values associated with sport and a healthy lifestyle through participation with their own team." Enrique López, general manager of FNG Fornes Logistics.

In addition to the storage of material prior to the event, FNG Fornes Logistics vehicles have been present at the 5 refreshment points scattered throughout the circuit, where water, isotonic drinks and fruit have been distributed to ensure the hydration and energy of the runners.

The Palma Marathon Mallorca is an obligatory stop for running enthusiasts and professionals due to its spectacular route that runs along the Paseo de la Palma, the Cathedral and through the historic centre of the city.

In addition to this sponsorship, the company's involvement in Balearic sport has been growing exponentially for some years now through other sponsorships with local clubs such as the Mallorca Palma Futsal or the FNG San Silvestre, the last race of the year, to which the company gives its name.
