As we do every year, we want to use these last few days to look back and remember the most significant moments of 2022, a year that has been full of growth, learning and much celebration.
We continue to grow
February saw one of the most important milestones in recent years for FNG Fornes Logistics: our 70th anniversary. As a family business, having three generations and 70 years behind us is a reason for pride and celebration, so we commemorated it with an adhesion to the logo that has accompanied us throughout the year on all our media.
The Palma Futsal family, of which we form part as sponsors, also wanted to celebrate this special year with us in a commemorative match that filled the pavilion with green, a colour shared by both entities.
We continue to improve
During the past years, we have experienced a constant growth that has made possible the opening of new delegations and that has laid the foundations for new expansion projects. In addition, we have maintained a clear commitment to the digitalisation of processes in order to reduce inefficiencies and their environmental impact. With this objective in mind, this year we have consolidated the protocolisation of these processes and the implementation, in all our branches, of tracking and control of goods at all stages by means of RF.
This growth has also allowed us this year to carry out an expansion of the Barcelona facilities, thanks to which loading and unloading operations have been streamlined, storage space has been considerably increased and new spaces dedicated to the comfort and well-being of employees have been defined.
We are still by your side
As usual, we have been present in several initiatives and projects as sponsors or logistics partners, reinforcing our commitment to society and our environment. The Rudy Fernández basketball campus, the Zafiro Palma Marathon and the Mallorca 140.6 triathlon are some of them.
This December, we have once again collaborated with the Mallorca Food Bank in the Great Food Collection that is held every year at this time of year, in which we participate by collecting and transporting the donated goods. And, to end the year in style, we are once again the main sponsor of the FNG San Silvestre Palma 2022, the last race of the year that brings together friends and families at this magical time of year.
2022 will be a year that will go down in the history of FNG Fornes Logistics, but we are inevitably already looking forward to what is to come in 2023.
