FNG Fornes Logistics has collaborated this year on the World Rare Diseases Day with an action in benefit of the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases (FEDER).
The company has donated € 1 for each delivery made last Wednesday, February 28, the day on which the World Rare Diseases Day is celebrated every year. The total amount has been delivered to FEDER who will allocate the funds to the investigation.
To give greater visibility to the action and the important task carried out by the federation, all the delivery notes have been delivered with a sticker referring to the collaboration.
The acceptance of the collaboration by both employees and customers and suppliers has been very positive, evidencing the importance of companies in investing in research and social causes.
From the company, it’s been emphasized the importance of the companies, regardless of their size, to contribute in the improvement of these families life.
The World Rare Disease Day campaign, starring the writer and presenter Christian Gálvez and the writer, actress and gymnast Almudena Cid, was presented this year under the slogan "Let's build today for tomorrow" and, as defined by FEDER, leads as aim "to raise awareness about rare diseases and attract attention to the great situations of inequity and injustices that families live."
