FNG Logistics links its name to a recognition that highlights culture as a driving force for social cohesion.

The Real Club Náutico de Palma has been honoured with the FNG Logistics Award for the Promotion and Transmission of Culture at the gala of the 1st Fundació Miquel Jaume – Palma Futsal Awards, held this Thursday at the Hotel GPRO Valparaíso Palace & Suites.

This first edition of the awards recognised the social, cultural, sporting and environmental commitment of various organisations across the Balearic Islands, in an evening defined by values, community and shared responsibility.

The FNG Logistics Award for the Promotion and Transmission of Culture was granted to the Real Club Náutico de Palma in recognition of its historic trajectory and its continued contribution to cultural dissemination through sport. The jury highlighted the club’s ability to consolidate a stable programme open to the public, integrating heritage, music and social life beyond competition.

The award was presented by Javier Bonet, Councillor for Culture of the Palma City Council, and Antònia Fornés, representative of FNG Logistics, and was received by Rafael Gil, President of the Real Club Náutico de Palma.

Culture, identity and community

For FNG Logistics, linking its name to an award that recognises culture as a unifying element of society represents a firm commitment to projects that help preserve identity, build community and transmit values through sport.

Culture, understood as a space for connection and social projection, is also part of the responsibility of companies rooted in the territory. In this sense, the FNG Logistics Award reflects the company’s commitment to supporting initiatives that expand the impact of sporting activity and connect it with the wider community.

A gala with a social and sustainable outlook

During the ceremony, other notable recognitions were also presented. The Veolia Award for the Promotion of Environmental Protection was granted to the Trail Menorca Camí de Cavalls – ConectaBalear, in recognition of its commitment to sustainability and the preservation of the natural environment.

The ConectaBalear Award for the Promotion of Sporting and Social Values was presented to the Fundació Mallorca Integra for its project “Integra, Oci i Esport”, aimed at fostering social inclusion through sport.

In addition, the Foundation awarded special mentions to Vicente del Bosque and journalist José María García, in recognition of their careers and their contribution to human and sporting values.
